Straight From The Horses Mouth

Howdy Y'all,

Well school is out for summer! I know that probably doesn't excite you parents, but I was ready for some rest. Hope everyone has some plans for something fun to do! I know Pops (Bobby Emery) does he will have one of his blonde haired granddaughters keeping him busy. HaHaHa! He loves it though.

Speaking of Bayleigh we are so proud of her she received several awards at school. The most important one was a principal's award. Way to go Bayleigh! Speaking of grandkids in case you haven't heard Brooke is pregnant. Yep Jennie is gonna be a grandma! Wow that means Eveline is going to be a great grandma! I had a visit from my new grandbaby last month. The hardest part was when he left to go back home to Washington. I miss my little man. I don't know how anyone can be a long distance grandparent.

Pony Express in May was in Joshua we had a great turn out from our members and are looking forward to being in Cedar Hill on the 19th of June at 6:30.

Looking forward to the playday on Saturday the 12th. Sign up at 7 p.m. ride at 8. We are expecting guest and will be short on our regular members so it will have to be all hands on deck! If you have not signed up for a food item please see email from Jennie and do so we need lots of stuff for the kitchen. There is also some cleaning that still needs to be done before then. Also don't forget we have a meeting Thursday the 10th at 7 p.m. I haven't got to talk to Jennie or Laura but I hope one of them might know about a 4th of July parade. We do need to talk about the American Cowboy Parade that will be in the Stockyards at the end of June.

We want to say Welcome to Bobby and Janet Kirby the newest members to TTRC! I want to also ask everyone to keep The Behrens and Rhodens in your prayers, Barbara's sister Gale has been in the hospital very sick. I talked to Barbara this week and she was going to bring Gale home but she still has a way to go before being fully recovered.

Fathers day is coming up so don't forget your father. We had a lot of birthdays last month that I missed. So to all of you May and June babies HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
